Low-pressure drop Strainers

The Condenser Online Tube Cleaning System (COLTCS) is intended to prevent the formation of various forms of fouling and scaling in the condenser tubes. We have leading approvals with NTPC, BHEL, NPCIL, Toshiba, Siemens, Alstom, etc .
This filter is essential to prevent macro-fouling from debris in cooling water circuits. Wherever Marco fouling occurs, such as in the heat exchanger, condenser, or cooling tower, and protection of downstream equipment becomes essential, debris filters are vital components to use. We have leading approvals with NTPC, BHEL, NPCIL, Toshiba, Siemens, Alstom, etc.
Low-pressure drop LPD Y, Basket, Duplex – strainer consists of a large screen, a good number of holes, and a large surface area. It has no bridge wall, hence enables the fluid to flow smoothly with low turbulence at a lesser velocity and therefore minimizes the pressure drop. Our low-pressure drop strainers test for rated flow and have been proven and certified in many labs for a full range of flow versus pressure drop. We have, for several years, been a preferred choice with many pump OEMs like KSB and end-users like NTPC.

Liquid to Gas conversion projects for fuel gas treatment

To meet pipeline specifications as per the Fiscal/ Custody Transfer codes, (like MDEC in UAE by ADWEA or GAIL India, etc.) for cross-country lines, sales gas needs to be free from dust particles, dry, pressure regulated, and HCV/LCV need to be within a prescribed range. The quality is to be monitored real-time for billing, and different source of Gas makes it more critical, and hence the system needs to be very accurate. Multitex has a wide range of experience in this application and supports its end users including consumers of sales gas and Gas pipeline owners to establish the rules of transfer of fuel right from the battery limit point and ensure the reliability of the results
The dew point is the temperature at which the natural Gas becomes saturated with moisture. In the saturated state, the maximum amount of moisture is found in the Gas. Depending on process conditions, this can lead to hydrate formation or accumulation of moisture in liquid form. The dew point heating system raises the stable temperature above the dew point to remove excessive moisture and also further ensure good temperature rise to avoid hydrate formation.
Gas transmission lines usually get contaminated with iron sulfide, iron oxides, and other contaminants. The black powder filtration system removes these impurities from pipeline equipment. Black powder is known to be detrimental to downstream critical equipment.
In many industries, cogeneration power plants are being converted from time to time based on fuel economics or environmental reasons. The current trend of using HCNG or conversion from Naphtha to Natural Gas or Diesel to Natural Gas, calls for not only changes in OEM power units but also the treatment of fuel requirements that needs to be modified. Multitex has wide experience and has been associated with many projects with end-user or OEMs for compressors or turbines to meet the new requirements in existing plants.
